As my time in Sorrento comes to an end, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude and love for the AboutSorrento team, the Sant\u2019Anna Institute, and this beautiful city.<\/p>

These five weeks have been nothing short of magical<\/strong>, from the mouthwatering cuisine to the awe-inspiring views.<\/p>

But above all, it’s the warm-hearted people of Sorrento that have made this experience truly unforgettable<\/strong>!<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Living at the Sant\u2019Anna Institute has been a dream.<\/p>

The location looking over Marina Grande and just about a four-minute walk to the main squares of Sorrento could not be more prime<\/strong>.<\/p>

My dorm room has a fantastic view of the school\u2019s garden. The two terraces have a birdseye view of the scenic Mediterranean Sea and the cliffs that surround the area.<\/p>

It is like waking up in a postcard every day!<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

From crepes to paninis, pasta to everything lemon, the gastronomic delights here are endless<\/strong>.<\/p>

Stroll down Corso Italia to find a multitude of incredible restaurants, bars, and gelaterias, all offering excellent service<\/strong>.<\/p>

Don’t miss the mouthwatering Paninis at A\u2019Marenna<\/em> and That\u2019s Panaro<\/em>, where the charming staff treat you like family.<\/p>

For the best Gnocchi alla Sorrentina<\/a>, you can’t go wrong at any restaurant<\/strong>.<\/p>

Even if you’re not a seafood fan, the seafood risotto at Soul&Fish<\/em> is a must-try.<\/p>

And of course, end your meals with a limoncello shot and some delightful gelato.<\/p>

Sorrento’s beauty is unparalleled, surrounded by the Mediterranean Sea<\/strong>, cliff-side homes, and vibrant flowers.<\/p>

Swimming in the salty waters is a magical experience<\/strong>.<\/p>

The salt may feel gritty, but your skin will be left feeling smooth after rinsing off.<\/p>

The shimmering blue waters make you wish you could stay in the sea forever.<\/p>

My favorite beach I visited was Bagni della Regina Giovanna<\/strong> which is where Queen Giovanna \u2161 of Anjou of Naples met her lovers.<\/p>

This archeological spot has breathtaking views as well as a mix of shallow and deep waters<\/strong>.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

While leaving Sorrento is heartbreaking, I found solace in a small piece of jewelry from Miele Gioielli<\/em>, a lovely handmade jewelry store run by women.<\/p>

My roommate and I bought beautiful Italian horn necklaces, believed to bring good luck and protection<\/strong>.<\/p>

Gifting the necklace to each other added to its significance, always keeping a piece of Sorrento close to our hearts<\/strong>.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
