I can\u2019t believe my semester here in Sorrento is coming to an end<\/strong> already.<\/p>

Sometimes it feels like I just arrived yesterday, and other times it feels like I\u2019ve been here for a year.<\/p>

Four months just doesn\u2019t seem like enough time<\/strong> with a place, or with the people I\u2019ve met here.\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

I\u2019ve had the amazing chance at living<\/strong> and immersing myself in a brand new culture here in Italy<\/strong>, and I can\u2019t think of a better place to do it than here.<\/p>

Sure, it’s not as well known as cities like Rome and Florence, but it\u2019s incomparable in my opinion<\/strong>.<\/p>

Sorrento has a charm like no other place I\u2019ve been<\/strong>.<\/p>

After every weekend trip away, my friends and I would always agree we\u2019re ready to be back in Sorrento.<\/p>

It welcomes you back with open arms no matter how long you\u2019ve been away<\/strong> and provides the peace and comfort you can\u2019t quite find anywhere else.\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

When I first arrived here, I was utterly taken aback by the magnificence of Sorrento.<\/p>

Before I was fully comfortable and settled, one of my favorite things to do was take walks along the Marina Grande<\/strong>, or just around the side streets lined with shops.<\/p>

The abundance of people here always made it feel lively and comforting.<\/p>

I didn\u2019t even realize until about halfway through my semester how at home I truly felt in this small coastal town<\/strong>.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

None of this would have been possible without the lovely Sant\u2019Anna Institute and its staff<\/strong>.<\/p>

I never once felt unprepared in this journey, they made everything so easy<\/strong> and simple.<\/p>

My supervisor for this lovely opportunity of an internship, Pasquale, also helped me so much along the way.<\/p>

Also through Sant\u2019Anna, I made lifelong friends<\/strong> and family.<\/p>

Bella<\/strong>, Caroline<\/strong>, Eesha<\/strong>, Emily<\/strong>, Grayson<\/strong>, Kathryn<\/strong>, and Lili<\/strong> – my best friends that I connected with because of Sant\u2019Anna.<\/p>

Whether it was from us being in the dorms, meeting through the activities, or just having the same classes in common, we have our school to thank<\/strong>.<\/p>

I never thought I would make such meaningful connections in this short amount of time, but I am so glad that I was wrong.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Upon reflecting on these past four months, I\u2019ve concluded what I\u2019ll miss most about Sorrento<\/strong>: the<\/strong> lovely views<\/strong> and picturesque scenery;<\/strong><\/p>

the authentic Italian food<\/strong> and desserts, the welcoming and loving atmosphere<\/strong>, the adorable cats on every street, and the people who make it feel like home<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>
