One of the most anticipated food and wine events in Italy returns again in 2026: Festa a Vico, the event created by the starred chef Gennaro Esposito who every year transforms Vico Equense into the capital of contemporary Italian cuisine.
The 2026 edition will take place from 14 to 17 June 2026 between the center of Vico Equense, Seiano and some of the most evocative locations on the Sorrento Peninsula. Starred chefs, pizza makers, producers, artisans of taste and thousands of visitors will arrive on the Sorrento Coast to participate in four days dedicated to gastronomy, solidarity and local culture.

What is Festa a Vico
Born in 2003 from an idea by chef Gennaro Esposito, Festa a Vico has become over the years one of the most important gastronomic events on the Italian scene.
More than a simple culinary festival, Festa a Vico represents a great meeting point between haute cuisine, territory and solidarity. During the event, the streets of Vico Equense are transformed into a real open-air kitchen, with tastings, special dinners, show cooking, meetings and gastronomic journeys involving hundreds of professionals in the sector.
Every year the following participate:
- Italian and international star chefs
- pizza chefs and masters of the white art
- local producers
- companies in the food & beverage sector
- sommeliers, pastry chefs and artisans of taste
One of the most important aspects of the event is its charitable vocation: a large part of the funds raised during the events are donated to associations, bodies and solidarity projects. In the 2025 edition, over 280 thousand euros were raised for research and charitable activities.
The theme of Festa a Vico 2026
For 2026 the chosen theme is:
“L’intelligenza delle mani, la conoscenza nel piatto”
Traslate: “The intelligence of the hands, knowledge on the plate”
A title that focuses on the value of craftsmanship, gastronomic knowledge and manual work that characterizes Italian cuisine.
The new edition will once again focus on the importance of tradition, skills and the link between cuisine and territory, recounting the Italian gastronomic heritage through shared experiences and moments of conviviality.
