On Friday 19 September 2025, the Marina di Cassano in Piano di Sorrento hosts “Tra Onde & Sapore di Mare“, a special evening dedicated to the sea, local flavors and maritime traditions, in the splendid setting of the fishing village. The event is organized with the collaboration of the municipal administration, local restaurants and the Ade Pesca association, as part of the “Onde di Tradizione – La voci delle cianciole” project, financed by the GAL Pesca Approdo di Ulisse.

The event starts at 6.30pm with the dynamic demonstration of radio-controlled models by the Amici Modellisti Campania, followed by the Fishermen’s Forum – Fisherman Café, which will introduce the cultural theme of the evening. At 7.30pm the “Sapore di Mare Tasting Path” opens, with dishes prepared with local fish made by chefs from the village restaurants such as Bagni Tina, Fracatell, Bagni Rosita, Acqua Pazza, Maruzzella and ‘O Tabbacar. From 8.15pm onwards there will be space for shows: the Sea Parade, a traveling show of colours, music and magic promoted by the Compagnia degli Sbuffi; street artists, animation and entertainment, organized by Sorrento Entertainment.
During the evening, the village of Cassano will tell its story through various cultural activities: the “Nino Bixio” Nautical Museum Exhibition entitled The History of the Sea, an exhibition of model boats and marine narratives; the art of macramé with Francesca Esposito; books on maritime culture with Mondadori; as well as nets, purse seines and fishing boats presented by the Ade Pesca Association.
