Joan Miró Exhibition – “The Dream Builder” at Villa Fiorentino, Sorrento

From May 29 to November 9, 2025, the elegant halls of Villa Fiorentino in Sorrento will host the exhibition “Joan Miró – The Dream Builder“, a journey into the fantastic, creative, and dreamlike world of Joan Miró.

Curated by Achille Bonito Oliva in collaboration with Stefano Oliviero, the exhibition highlights one of the greatest masters of European Surrealism through a selection of approximately 80 works, including paintings, tempera, watercolors, drawings, sculptures, and ceramics, along with rare graphic works, books, and historical documents.

The exhibited works, on loan from prestigious museums in Spain and France, invite visitors to immerse themselves in Miró’s universe, where every mark and color becomes pure emotion, joy, and playful creativity.

The exhibition path also features a rich section of photographs and videos offering a glimpse into the public and private life of Joan Miró, providing a deeper understanding of the great surrealist master’s world.
