The Massa Lubrense Lemon Festival, known as Limoni in Festa, reaches the prestigious milestone of its 50th edition in 2026. The event, among the most representative of the Sorrento Peninsula, will take place on Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 July 2026 in the city center of Massa Lubrense, celebrating the symbolic product of the territory: the famous oval Massese lemon, also known as “femminiello“.
Every year the event attracts thousands of visitors thanks to a format that combines gastronomy, culture, popular traditions and valorisation of the local agricultural heritage. Tastings, shows, markets, live music and food and wine tours transform the historic center into a great itinerary dedicated to lemon and the excellence of the Sorrento land.

What is Limoni in Festa?
Limoni in Festa is much more than a simple food festival. Born to celebrate the oval Massese lemon, one of the most identifying agricultural products of the area, the event represents a tribute to the peasant tradition, local culture and the agricultural history of Massa Lubrense.
During the event the streets of the center come alive with a rich program which traditionally includes:

The 50th edition of Limoni in Festa, the historic Lemon Festival of Massa Lubrense, will take place in the city center during the weekend of 11 and 12 July 2026.
