From 6 December 2025 to 6 January 2026 Sant’Agnello offers ViviAmo il Natale, a Christmas event that combines markets, concerts, workshops, nativity scenes, entertainment for children and religious moments.

The poster connects squares and villages (Piazza Matteotti, Piazzetta Angri, Chiesa del Carmine, Sanctuary of the SS. Annunziata and other places) offering events for families, young people and visitors to the Sorrento Peninsula. Here you will find the chronological program with short descriptions for each event

All the events of Christmas 2025 in Sant'Agnello

The ViviAmo il Natale 2025 review transforms Sant’Agnello into a lively calendar of events for the entire holiday period. The objective is to enhance the villages, promote cultural initiatives and involve schools, associations and traders. On this page we publish the chronological program with the details of each appointment: location, date and time, useful for residents and tourists who want to organize their visit.

6 December: Lighting of the Tree in the Square

The event opens with the lighting of the tree and the inauguration of the markets.
The ceremony takes place in Piazza Matteotti, with the lights being turned on at 5.30 pm and an early evening of music and entertainment. Subsequently, in Piazzetta Angri we proceed to the inauguration of the markets and the Santa Claus Archive with activities and live music until 7pm.

7 December: Opening of the Christmas Markets

Christmas markets and ongoing entertainment for families.

In Piazzetta Angri (from 5pm) street artists and the “Sorrento Folk” group perform; from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm the attractions of Santa Claus’ House open and from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm there will be seafood tastings with the GAL project “On the Christmas route“.

8 December: Markets and Concerts

Workshops, markets and concert of the Sanctuary of the SS. Annunziata.

In the morning and afternoon in Piazzetta Angri, workshops, eco-sustainable games and entertainment; at 7.30 pm in the Sanctuary of the SS. Annunziata the “Madre!” concert is scheduled. as part of the “Honorio and his music” project.

December 11: Gospel concert

Evening concert at the Sanctuary of San Giuseppe.

The “Ruth Whyte & White” gospel concert is scheduled at 8:00 pm at the Sanctuary of San Giuseppe.

From 12 to 15 December: Christmas Exhibitions and Patronal Festival

Exhibitions and exhibition fairs.
The animal exhibition fair (3rd edition) is set up in the Viale dei Pini area (from 10:00 to 18:00). 

On December 12th the Christmas market returns to Piazzetta Angri with food & show from 5pm; 

in the evening tastings linked to the GAL project.

Inaugurations and shows in the village.
Inauguration event of the animated nativity scene at the Mutual Aid Workers’ Society at 11:00; in the afternoon markets in Piazzetta Angri, with music and historical shows in the evening.

Feast of the Patron Saint and family activities.
The patronal festival takes place with religious events in the morning and, in Piazzetta Angri, the markets resume and Santa’s House is open in two shifts: morning and afternoon. Entertainment for children in the afternoon and evening.

From 17 to 19 December: Schools and Youth Forum

Workshops, markets and tastings.
On December 17th in the G. Fiodo School at 5pm the floral workshop “The Christmas table center” will be held by the Sant’Agnello Youth Forum. 

On December 18th, again at the G. Fiodo School, a Christmas workshop for children is scheduled. 

On 19 December in Piazzetta Angri (5pm) the markets return with local exhibitors and, from 7pm to 9pm, seafood tastings from the GAL project.

20 and 21 December: Markets and Santa's House

The Christmas markets and shows continue on December 20th.
In Piazzetta Angri (5pm) new day of markets with street artists, live music and workshops for all ages

Activities in schools, concerts and “Santa’s house” on 21 December.
During the day there will be guided tours, musical moments at local institutes and the opening of Santa Claus’ House with proposals for families and evening tastings.

22 December: concerts and shows

Concert and shows in Corso Italia.
At 5.00 pm the Church of SS. Prisco e Agnello hosts a choral concert; in Piazzetta Angri markets and workshops from 5pm onwards.

23 dicembre: Santa Claus is coming

Santa Claus is coming and offers for the little ones.
In the central squares, arrival of Santa Claus, workshops and typical tastings; theatrical performances and involvement of students from local schools.

25 dicembre: Christmas 2025 in Sant'Agnello

Christmas concert and collective moments.
The Church of SS. Prisco e Agnello hosts the evening Christmas concert at 7.30pm: a time for religious celebrations and choral music from the community.

26 dicembre: Concert at the 7 Dolori

Parish concert and shows.
The concert of the female quartet “Amado Quartet” is scheduled at 7.30 pm at the Church of the Seven Sorrows; in the morning walks and stories of the sea for families.

28 dicembre: Narrative walks

Narrative walks and live music.
In the morning (10:00 am) meeting for the “Stories of the sea and fishermen” walk with live actors and musicians; in the afternoon evening concert in the Church of S. Maria delle Grazie at 7.30pm.

Best wishes from the Mayor and a New Year’s toast.
At 11.30 in Piazza Matteotti the Mayor’s greetings with aperitif and musical moments, followed by the traditional city celebrations.

2 e 3 gennaio: New Year's Eve events

Workshops, games and theater for children.
At Colli di Fontanelle and in the squares there are activities for children, eco-sustainable workshops and theater shows; the markets continue in Piazzetta Angri.

4 gennaio: Last markets

Markets and final shows.
In the morning and afternoon the Christmas markets close their editions with shows and social moments; in the evening events in local churches.

The Befana arrives and the review concludes.
At 11:00 in Piazza Matteotti the arrival of the Befana officially closes the “ViviAmo il Natale” program.
