Sorrento - mostra
From 21 March to 3 May 2026, the exhibition spaces of Villa Fiorentino host the exhibition “Codice RJW / Memoria Futura“, a journey into the world of contemporary jewelery between art, experimentation and research. The exhibition celebrates five years of the Rome Jewelry Week, proposing a journey that combines memory and future vision through works by artists, designers and master goldsmiths.
The event is part of the cultural calendar of the city of Sorrento, offering citizens and visitors the opportunity to discover how contemporary jewelery can become a true form of artistic language.
Jewelry exhibition in Sorrento
The “Codice RJW / Memoria Futura” jewelery exhibition recounts the evolution of the Rome Jewelry Week through its first five editions (2021–2025), transforming the exhibition into a true living archive of contemporary jewellery.
In this journey the jewel goes beyond its simple ornamental function to become an instrument of cultural expression and reflection. The works on display tell of different creative experiences: from jewelery understood as an object of social connection, to ethical experimentation and aesthetic research that dialogues with the goldsmith tradition.
The project also highlights the RJW Code, a network of artists and professionals that over the years has favored international collaborations and social initiatives, including the “Jewels for Freedom” project, dedicated to the valorization and support of women.

The exhibition is organized by the Cultural Association InCinque Open Art Monti and is curated by architect Monica Cecchini.
The exhibition itinerary traces the different souls of Roma Jewelry Week:
- the jewel as a travel notebook
- jewelery as a territory of ethical experimentation
- jewelery as an exercise in baroque virtuosity
- the jewel as light and spiritual reflection
The objective is to describe jewelery as an expressive form capable of communicating with art, culture and society.
La Roma Jewelry Week 2026
The exhibition not only looks at the past but also anticipates the future. In fact, during the exhibition the theme of Rome Jewelry Week 2026 will be presented:
“The crown of ingenuity. The jewel as a story of the history of Italian art and culture over the last 80 years.”
A project that will explore jewelery as a narrative of Italian creativity, connecting art, design and contemporary culture.
