In Sorrento “Sophia Loren, from Marina Grande to the World” Photo Exhibition

After last year’s success with the 90th birthday celebration of the timeless Italian diva, Sorrento will once again host an extraordinary event celebrating Sophia Loren’s life, career and special bond with the Land of the Sirens.

The “Piacere Sorrento” Association, in collaboration with the Raffaele Celentano Gallery, LABout by Stylo Project, About Sorrento, and with the valuable support of the English Inn and the sponsorship of the Municipality of Sorrento, proudly presents an extraordinary photo exhibition dedicated to Sophia Loren.

The exhibition will take place in the picturesque Vicolo II Fuoro from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm. 

Vico II Fuoro is the narrowest alley in Sorrento, leading to the characteristic fishing village of Marina Grande.

This iconic place played a fundamental role in the growth of the famous Italian cinema diva, particularly highlighted in the film with Vittorio De Sica “Pane Amore e…”.

This initiative represents the first event of the “ARS FUORO” project of the “Piacere Sorrento” Association, aimed at safeguarding the artisanal traditions and historic shops of the quadrilateral of Via Fuoro, Via San Nicola, Vico II Fuoro, and Vico III Fuoro.
